Following a corporate downsizing in 2009, Darren Plumb was directed to his true calling in Real Estate, initially as a mortgage agent. He pioneered a Sub Prime financing solution called Foreclosure Escape Artist, helping families facing Power of Sale to stay in their homes. Additionally, Darren ran monthly investor offering a “Giving Back” investment strategy, that not only helps out families in need, but also provides a modest return for investors.
Darren has a strong foundation within the Real Estate market working as a realtor initially with Sutton Group. He drew a lot of attention in his first year closing 18 transactions and qualified for rookie of the year by any standard. With his personal approach to his clients he realized his goals aligned with RE/MAX in the fall of 2014 Darren was accepted into the RE/MAX family. With RE/MAX, Darren is improving his penetration in the markets he serves, engages in ongoing professional development and networks with top performers of the industry.
Darren has given back to the community as a volunteer at Ontario Correctional Institute in the roles of 1 on 1 Councillor and Motivational Speaker. Darren has two children. Trista, 18, is in his first year at Laurier University, studying music and Jade, 17, is in her last year of High School with aspirations of post-secondary pursuit. Darren enjoys running, mountain biking, yoga and snowboarding. He is an avid doorknocker, so when you see him on your doorstep, make sure you say Hello!
